2022.FEB | Important Announcement: IUHPE2022 Conference Format Change
Dear IUHPE2022 Conference presenters and participants,
Following a review of the public health situation globally and keeping the safety and accessibility of participants in mind, the Organizing Committee of the 24th IUHPE World Conference on Health Promotion has made the decision to switch to a fully virtual conference, with all sessions online.
This decision has been made with the understanding that as health promotion leaders we value and share a responsibility toward ensuring a safe, accessible, and healthy environment for all to participate. We believe that this format will lead to a more successful, manageable, and inclusive conference for all to enjoy.
Based on this format change, we thank you for your patience and understanding as our committees bring modifications to the current program and we complete the appropriate changes to registration dates. We will be confirming with presenters the final schedule by the end of February and detailed instructions for presentations will be published on the conference web site in March. All those having registered as in-person delegates will be transferred to virtual registrations and a refund for the corresponding difference will be completed in the following weeks.
We appreciate the innovation that online formats have brought to the world over the last two years, and we look forward to connecting, collaborating, and sharing coffee with you from all parts of the globe! As our global community of health promotion professionals prepares to come together, it remains clear that there will be much to discuss in “Promoting policies for health, well-being and equity.”

We are happy to confirm the opening of registrations to the 24th IUHPE World Conference on Health Promotion – IUHPE 2022, being held in Montréal (Québec) Canada from 15 to 19 May 2022.
Registration is available for both in-person and remote participants to benefit fully from our hybrid conference, featuring a dynamic programme in English, French and Spanish under the conference theme “Promoting policies for health, well-being and equity”.

2021.APR | Launch of the Call for Abstracts
Bonjour,
Under the conference theme “Promoting policies for health, well-being and equity”, the Call for Abstracts is now open for the 24th IUHPE World Conference on Health Promotion – IUHPE 2022, being held in Montréal (Québec) Canada from 15 to 19 May 2022. Submissions can be made in English, French and Spanish.
We invite all abstract submitters, including individual contributors, to interact and collaborate with other presenters and participants wherever possible. Participatory, collaborative and non-traditional session formats will be given priority in the selection process.
Abstracts can be submitted in eight different formats: 1) symposium, 2) workshop, 3) research oral/poster presentation, 4) innovation in policy and practice oral/poster presentation, 5) round table discussion, 6) alternative showing/new technology, 7) alternative showing/art, and 8) lunch with an author. The deadline to submit an abstract is Friday 17 September 2021.
Registration and hotel reservations for the 24th IUHPE World Conference on Health Promotion will open in May.
